A software development by frey | interaktive medien
ee-musix is a project of frey | interaktive medien. In the beginning, it was actually just a platform for testing new technical possibilities internally. Over time, more and more interesting functions were added, so that one day we decided to give the whole thing a “face”.
As we all had something to do with music, we came up with the idea of creating an ad-free and free community for musicians, a live streaming platform and a place for creative exchange.
We look forward to a lively response and exchange.
Live-Streaming
Providing live streaming events/functions for the user was one of the main motivations in the development of the software. The live streaming should work via any standard webcam with microphone connected to the computer.
After creating a livestream, the functionality of the connected webcam and microphone hardware can be tested.
The live stream can only be started at a defined time, a countdown shows the remaining time until the start. The same applies to the recipient of the stream, who is also informed of the remaining time and can only start the stream at the defined time after it has elapsed.
Rights management can be used to decide whether the stream is only visible to internal or public participants.
External options
There are already numerous functions outside the community. If the rights are set accordingly, you can search and filter for music, events and live streams.
Posts in general and some filter functions are only available to registered users. In general, the author himself decides what can be seen publicly.
Logged in
In the internal area, posts can be read by users and all filter functions are available.
If you have created your own profile, you can upload videos and music, create and comment on posts or set up a live stream. Here too, the author can always determine what other participants can see and hear.
Using the internal messaging system, you can exchange private messages directly with other participants and, if desired, add your own music or videos as attachments.
Media elements
All media are created in so-called albums as a superordinate organizing element. A media element can contain an audio, video or YouTube element.
All common audio and video formats can be uploaded and displayed publicly after conversion to .mp3 or .webm.
We have deliberately dispensed with a comment or rating function. If you want to know why - just ask.
